Meet Our Staff

Dr. Wahida Abaza provides pediatric care at Hand in Hand Pediatrics. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Abaza is dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care and helping children build a foundation for lifelong health.

Dr. Abaza chose pediatrics because she believes prevention can have a lasting impact on a child’s future health and well-being. She values the opportunity to support children and families through every stage of development, helping parents navigate uncertainty while building strong relationships rooted in trust and understanding. One of her favorite aspects of pediatrics is watching children grow into healthy, confident individuals and partnering with families along the way. She also appreciates the welcoming and diverse nature of the Dublin community and the shared commitment to keeping children physically and emotionally healthy.

Outside of work, Dr. Abaza enjoys serving her community through volunteer and outreach efforts, including community service, interfaith relations, and youth programming. Originally from Chicago, she attended the University of Michigan, where she met her husband. She and her family have called Dublin home for the past 18 years, and she is grateful for the opportunity to care for and serve the community she loves.
